Writing together is magic

“Magic is the way that the left hemisphere sees powers over which it has no control.”
— Iain McGilchrist
I finished watching the series finale of Reservation Dogs, and it was perfect. I laughed, I cried, I felt full, and my view of the world changed. I loved everything about this show.
The writing is alive. It pops and crackles. It discovers and explores. The writing has fun. More than once in every episode, I thought about the writers who worked together to create it.

When writers gather, magic happens. You know what I mean. You can feel it: the air is sparkling with invisible confetti and beautiful silent music. The space shifts into a new frequency.
Shared creative energy makes time slow down and your writing flow more freely. We make a lot of this magic in our co-writing sessions in Centered, and it’s so good.
When you think about exploring the art of creative curiosity with three other people, who comes to mind?
Why not send them a little email now, and ask them if they’d like to get together for an evening of creative writing?
Enjoy the magic of your collective.
