When inspiration strikes, Sarah Selecky Writing School enlists amazing guest contributors and hosts special courses and other good stuff in person and online.
On the craft side of things, we’ve done everything from a science fiction course with Matthew Trafford, to a story-to-screen course with Sioux Browning, to a course on translation with Peter Levitt.
Because we’re a holistically intelligent writing school, we’ve also hosted programs that have approached writing from a place of mindfulness and the body. For example, a horses & writing workshop co-taught by Jennifer Schramm.
We’re always on the lookout for fresh ideas, so if you’re a student with an idea for a special program that you’d like to see hosted by Sarah Selecky Writing School, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Otherwise, please check this page to see what’s coming up.
In-Person Writing Workshop with Sarah Selecky in London, UK
Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2, 2019
You’ve been working on your story, novel, or essay long enough to know that there’s something good in there — but you haven’t finished it, yet. Perhaps you’ve received feedback already, or started a revision. You’re in the murky middle draft, and you’re not sure what you should do next. You want clear direction. You want to finish it. But how?
In this three-day workshop, writers will workshop their middle drafts together, and receive feedback and practical guidance on how to finish their work.
